Rust never sleeps
Michigan continues to pick up early commitments, the most recent being the commitment from US National Team player Matt Rust. A shifty 5'10 forward, Rust joins defensman Tristan Llewylyn in Michigan's 07 class that will be called upon to replace T.J. Hensick and defensemen Matt Hunwick, Jason Dest, and Tim Cook.

I notice that Rust is not suiting up for either the U17 or U18 squad. Do you know the reason. Michigan has had terrible luck recently with recruits going into the tank with their respective development teams shortly after committing to the U. Tyler Swystun and Brandon Naurato are the two most blatant examples of players who fell off the map shortly after committing.
Also, Steve Jakiel. He was awful that last portion of last season and the beginning of the current season.
